Until her retirement, Clara was a teacher at
Beever Street Infants School. She was the Hon.
Secretary of the Oldham Habitation of the Primrose
League and a member of the Maternity & Child
Welfare Committee.
Death Certificate confirms the above, and states
that she was a Spinster, a retired School Teacher
and that her father was a Builder. The informant
was:- Jonah Watsons, 39 Selkirk Avenue, Oldham -
"causing the body to be buried".
Bricklayer's daughter, residing at 254
Featherstall Road North, Oldham in 1911. Her
sister - Emily Hardy, was also killed in this
