Extra Information: | CWGC - Of 145 Abbey Hills Road. Son of George and Mary Ann Holmes. Died at 145 Abbey Hills Road. Death Certificate confirms some of the above and states he was employed as a Labourer at a Cotton Mill. His body was eventually found on the 26th December and his brother - H.Holmes, 17 Cornbrook Street, Oldham, reported his death. Bomb Landed directly on this house. Resided at 25 Gibralter St Oldham in 1911. Brother of Hannah Mary Holmes who also died. |
