His father - Dennis Mahon was killed in France on
the 3rd September 1916 serving with the 22nd Bn,
Manchester Rgt ('B' Coy).  He was born at Tuam,
Co. Galway, Ireland.  His mother - Ellen Mahon
died on the 24th October 1959 - aged: 72.
