1939 National Registration - No Trace.
CWGC - Fireman, A.F.S.; of 46 Thirlmere Street,
Hightown. Injured 22 December 1940, at Piccadilly;
died at Royal Infirmary.
Buried in Manchester (Southern) Cemetery.  His
remains were exhumed on the 17th February 1948 and
re-interred that same day in the Jewish Section.
Manchester Evening News dated the 24th December
1941.    "Roll of Honour" - In memory of Firemen -
Anderton - Fenton - Hopwood - Killeen - Paul -
Smith.   Remembered by Fred Mottram and their pals
from Station 37.
