Killed alongside P.C. Franklyn Baden Wilkinson
when the Regent Road Police Station was bombed.
Resided at Wentworth Avenue, Pendleton.  His son -
Wilfred Salthouse was killed when on a bombing
mission to Hamburg on the 28th July 1943.
